What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

I just finished the other shield's skin. Random, didn't plan on doing it.

I personally plan on getting all of the Menu items done in a week, for now I want to just do it my self to keep continuity in the style. I don't know if Djipi need's help with the world textures, but I'm not too hot with them.

I like both your shields its a very good start, but I would recomend putting darker red outlines around the wood sheid's kokori logo it adds more depth, and add a very simple and cartoon wood grain aswell. The Hylian sheild could also be vastly improved by adding darker edges to certain areas to simulate depth. Dont take this advise and translate it into using more filters and bevels PLEASE!

IMO your shield is too simple color. All my textures is not very Simple. Here's My shield.
If you want to help me the dave , can you make all fixed texture same temple of time and if you can , i have problem to make cel shaded inside Jabu jabu texture. if you can make this 'temple" it will be great ;-)

I think Dave's shield would be good if it was just a bit darker. Just look at the difference, the one on the left is the original texture:

very funny link

I like dave's shield too but this is really a cell Shield. All my retexturing is not simply color , there are little detail who make not really cell shaded my project.

But it's a good shield.

Woah, little more than I was expecting.

I originally made the shields because I didn't know that Djipi had them done. I also went with no shading because I wasn't sure how the engine would handle them, so I wanted to start simple.

Here is an updated Deku, I don't think the red branding needs more than one color:

Here is the shield texture:

I like what you did with the Hyrule shield, though to me it seems like there's a little too many shadows on it for the cell shade look. Particularly the tri-force. I would have the tri-force as just one color of yellow.
