What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

i just have a question :
If someone can make just one picture with all the texture in link house (add 128 Textures to make only one picture to see all the texture house) maybe i can remake this picture and you will can cut this picture to remake the 128 textures of this house?

Can someone do that? and can you send me this picture?

I spent a long time editing this one, but it won't load. It's not from the same folder. Do I need to do something different to it to make it load? BTW, how do you like the tree bark? It's from Forest Haven.

Well make sure its a size that will appropriately fit the screen...for instance make sure your textures are 4x's original size. If it's not, this could lead to the problem of it not loading properly.

I'm completely stumped. I opened the file, and it was something like 288.007 dpi. I changed it to 288, then saved it. but no luck, so I went back and opened it again and it went back to 288.007. What gives?

Looking much better! I think forest haven is the way to go. The grey barky textures with the green hangers would look really nice on the interior rooms.

I am not sure if this can work, it should do, but it wont be perfect. I am modelling a copy of Link's Room in 3ds max, and applying Wind Waker textures, as well as modelling in the same style.

I can export as a panoramic image, but until someone pieces the tiles together in photoshop, I wont be able to match it perfectly. 3ds max exports panoramic files such as Quicktime VR

I am trying to find WW textures which would work for the room.

Here it is so far, I still need to model some extra bits and bobs such as the gardening tools, cloths, etc

I am almost finished, I only need two screenshots from Kokiri Forest, in the Cel Shaded style. One for the Window with the branch outside, and the other for outside of the door, plus I will add the top bit of the ladder.

As I said before, I am not sure if everything will align correctly, it should do, but until someone is able to take the image into photoshop, and break it into tiles, who knows.

Once I have completly finished, I will post the full res images in zip files for you to download, and make into tiles. I took most of the textures from images of Wind Waker, using the textures which seemed to fit best.

looks great mdtauk, you beat me to the punch... But it looks way beter than what I was doing. This texture is only one tile. I'm still having this problem where whe I save it, it adds .11 to the file, so it won't load in the game. Does anybody else have this problem? I'm doing everything right, but it's doing this every time

dpi? .11? What are you talking about. It's very simple. Dump the texture, resize it in pixels, only up to 4X, edit it how you like, then save it with the same name as the dump. DPI has to do with resolution, start working with pixels and you might get somewhere. Resolution should most likely only be at 72, and changing it won't make it load...at all. Once again...pixels...think pixels...it starts out 32 by 64...change it to 128 by 256...don't change 72 to 288...got it...sorry if I sound peeved, but this is just common sense.
