What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Wow, that rly looks awesome :D
Sry for the stupid question, but will this pack be supported by the european version of TloZ [(E)(M3)(v1.0)]? Couz I tried some packs and not all textures show up.

I kinda agree about the grass thing...it looks a bit flat when you're standing in the middle of Hyrule meadow.

But Djipi I have to say - I've just been looking at your work on Majora's Mask, the realistic version, and it's stunning. The textures are gorgeous. It's a real showpiece for what can be done through retexturing. It would be kinda good if you would consider continuing work on it. S'il vous plait...

I dub Djipi the Temple Sage of Awesomeness

Majora's? No, no, finish Celda first, it's so gorgeous! Haha.

That said, I need to check out that Majora's pack if it's as awesome as I'm hearing.

Djipi, you're great. If you can figure something out for the grass, WONDERFUL, if not, STILL WONDERFUL. Ocarina has plenty of limitations, I'm sure, and you've done things that I didn't think were even possible. That fire animation and the waterfall is just stunning.

Final Update: So, I deleted my last post as I don't want to hijack Djipi's thread of praise. In case anyone was wondering, I did figure out what I was doing wrong with the zelda background textures.

Anyway, thanks Djipi, you've inspired me.

Is there anyway to find specific textures? The way I did it was find the ones that I thought might be
what i was looking for and drew numbers on them. Loaded that up and it became pretty obvious which texture I wanted to work on.
Yes. It is quite helpful to mark all original textures of one scene with Id's. That way the wanted ones are very easy to identify.
You could for example use HighResEaser to mark (Option 1) and afterwards load (Option 2 or Option 4) the textures into PhotoShop.

I really enjoy your work on Celda, and hope you'll be able to complete it (your fire and water effects are unbelievable).

However... Damn, a Djipi Majora retexture pack, that would be *great* ! I really love Majora's Mask, and if you (re)start some work on it, it will be fantastic.

Haha, good thing you dumped the textures already! Isn´t that supposed to be the hardest temple in the game? Anyway, i look forward to your updates, Djipi!

I actually agree. I really enjoyed that game. Djipi said something like he couln´t get into it, or he didn´t have any feel for the game...I think it was something like that, i don´t want to put words in his mouth..

I'd have to echo such sentiment. The only reason I go back to play Majora's these days is to redo the bomber's notebook. The entire idea of Clocktown and all those friggin sidequests was just incredible. I keep hoping they'll bring something like that back. Majora's just doesn't feel as epic as the other 3 games (not counting handhelds) that Nintendo's given us since OoT.

I fully respect what they did with the game, as if the entire story is one big sidequest from the Legend of Zelda.

@Djipi - Cannot wait to see the Water Temple.

The desk the fisher guy is standing behind looks a lil wonky. I'm assuming though that it's the same exact texture that's behind him and so not a whole lot can be done about it.

You're so far along, it's amazing.

Well, the desk curves in for some reason so it may not look so bad from other angles.
