What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Great work minkster! :p

I didn't have enough patience to redo all those buttons (lazy lazy lazy me, lol :p). If you want to make your icons a bit more consistent with my Data icon, take a look at the attachment below, which includes my Data icon "sources", in both PSP and Photoshop formats, so you can make all of them match their style.

And I want to know if I have your permission to add your textures to the texture pack. Note that I'll probably convert them to 32-bit PNG (all) format (the preferred format for the texture pack)

Thanks, and keep up the good work! :)

Thanks _pm_ :D I will look into your data icon sources to see if I can improve on the buttons. And of course you can add them to your pack :)-minkster

I tinkered around with it and copied your button textures and applied them to mine. I also made some minor changes which makes the icons look smoother on mine. I hope you like it. :icecream: -minkster

I know I have heard a couple people say they didnt like the character selection screen, and they wanted it more original. I was messing around with this kirby texture, and it does look more like the original. I don't know if I'd do the other ones...because I'm not too sure if its that high quality since it took me about 15 minutes to complete. Well you guys can tell me what ya think

I am still trying figuring out a bit how this works and stuff but.....

I GOT AN IDEA!!

Link's nose always gaved me a feeling it just was ''glued'' on his face and it really looks like a Michael Jackson nose ,because of the line around his nose.... So isn't the solution to this just to get rid of that line and give it his natural skin colour?

I don't think that is possible without editing the actual model, and then loading it back in the game. We don't have the ability to do this yet, or you would've seen a totally remodeled Link already.

yeah, that sounds kind of reasonable.......
but, if you look closely at the texture at the sides of the nose you can see that the line around his nose is darker and doesn't match with his skin colour and that gives it the weird nose look....

Oy, this topic is too far dead!

Are you guys still too busy to give us an update of some sort? I'm sure many people want this project to steam on.

This is a very interesting project. I'll see if I can be of any help. Perhaps I'll tackle a background.

Same here. Wish I could help, but my digital artistic talent is nowhere near where these guys have gone! I too want to see this to completion. After all, Super Smash Bros. is only the most funnest game for the N64 (with Melee being the funnest GameCube game :p )

Hey, i tried and made it so when you choose red hat pikachu, you change into raichu. Here was my attempt. The white is supposed to be his white belly, it is a best as i could haha. Im going to make it so when you choose other colors, you turn into the two new ones, the + and -, i dont play pokemon so i dont know their names.

Here is my second edit. It changes the red and blue kirby into other kirby characters. It's a nice little pack that makes it so all the kirbys arent just different colors to be different. BTW i couldnt get the sucking up the power to work. Here it is View attachment 27653
