What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.
  • As members seem to have a problem reading the release threads:

Djipi's packs are built for the (Glide64 finale) Plugin. Nolonger supported!
Djipi's packs are built for the (GlideN64) Plugin.
These two Plugins are two completely different pieces of code.

GlideN64.HTC archived packs locked by Djipi are not compatible with use on Glide64, Rice video, nor Jabo video.

Glide64.DAT archived packs locked by Djipi are not compatible with use on GlideN64, Rice video, nor Jabo video.

Djipi has never made a pack for use with Rice video and never will. any packs found in this format are not authorized!

GlideN64 is the new standard and only requires an Radeon 6XXX.
This is a somewhat older GPU and should be readily available.
Do everyone a favor and upgrade!

What reversion of GlideN64 are you using? Some of the older ones have issues withe loading.
Have you tested with PJ64 1.6?

I'm using the latest public release (can't remember the number, just updated the other day), and no, I haven't tried with PJ64 1.6, but I don't think that should matter much; loading hires textures works, even from a cache, I do this with OOT and it loads no problem.

To the best of my knowledge there there hasn't been a release for a month. Can you point me to where you downloaded it?

I think I found the issue. It seems that a htc created by one version of GlideN64 may not always be read by another. I'm inquiring on this issue on the hub.

Well you said you're still looking into the issue. If you know of any way to unpack a .htc, I'll gladly unpack it, and then send you a new version of the htc for an update.

There is no need to unpack the htc, you will find the folder format in the 1st post.

I've re-packed the htc please download from top post.

Can any Android users confirm the pack as working?

I just read that you updated the file, I will download and test it tomorrow. Thanks!

Update: I tried the latest .htc file from the first post and I still have no luck. I have uploaded the video below so you can see my settings. I am not updated to the latest Mupen nightly. I am going to try that tonight, but I really don't think that's a significant factor.

Only the cache and hires_textures directories are the same. It's not a difficult process, but it's a bit tedious. I'll be more than happy to put together a tutorial later tonight when I get home.

Please post a guide in the tutorials section of this forum. Thanks :)
