  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I'm getting some weird texture bugs, the text is black and parts of the sentances flicker white/lightblue, and the items shown at the top right of your screen are all red, as well as the C buttons behind them. Also I'm using oot master quest, because every other texture pack has worked in the past with it, just have to rename the files.

I downloaded Project64 2.2, Downloaded the texture pack, renamed the .htc file to ZELDA MASTER QUEST, merged the two GFX folders, enabled gilde64 plugin, then ran the game.

I then tried tinkering with the settings but no success, do I need to use Project64 1.6, maybe try normal version of ocarina, or what?

I just ran the game without the texture pack and I still have the same bugs, so its the GFX plugin gilde64 servicepack 1?

Hey Djipi amazing work.

My only critique is that you made child Link "smiling" when in the original textures he is never smiling, he is more like innocent looking yes, but NOT smiling. To me this is hugely important, is like the soul of the entire game.

Edit: I opened the package and change the mouth texture so it doesn't look like Link is smiling now, I also added my own Deku shield.

Anyone interested can check it out is in the attachments files.

Also, to me. the game runs better and bug free using Glide 64 Final.

Mate, to me Project 64 2.2 is bloody awfull! It gives me nothing but BSOD (blue screens of death) and that is uncommon to me! Project 2.2 is freaking malware at this point man.

Use Project 1.6, is incredible more reliable and it was the final version made by the original author, at least that I know.

I haven't experienced any issues with 2.2 so far, (at least any issues that can't be fixed via settings) but I'll give 1.6 a try and see if it fixes it.

After usings Project64 1.6, I experience the same exact bugs, and I can't get the texture pack to load unless I use GlideN64, but it seems GlideN64 is the source of the texture bugs. (Tried using Glide64 Final, but the texture loading screen flashed on for a second then went to the game)

The only thing I can come up with now is converting the .htc texture file to something else? But I'm just grasping at straws here.
(Also I have no clue how to do so)

I unpacked Djipi's work using Cygwin. A bit complicated and I would share the uncompressed files with you but I don't know if Djipi would allow this.

Meanwhile I leave you with the new deku shield I just finished, believe it or not it took me hours and hours to leave it as I wanted:

No one is stealing here man, I just needed to use Glide 64 final thats why I uncompressed it, relax. Thanks for the images.

no i don't want that .

Some people tell me to distribute the rice pack for OOT in rice format. Some people would like to donate for that so , if some people want to donate for my work , MP me. But i don't want somepeople make thinks with my pack without my permission :)

I've been keeping quiet about this out of respect for your work, but now I'm not going to anymore.

I think your inability to release your work on your recent texture packs is inherently wrong. Especially since the grand majority of the work isn't even yours. In addition, There's quite a few textures (namely from the OOT Community Retexture) that you're also including in your pack.

So, I'm giving you a few options. Release your texture pack without your DRM and I'll let it slide. Otherwise, you should, at the very least, remove the offending textures from the community retexture pack. If you don't, I'm going to call you out on it on your threads. As it is, your flagrantly plagiarizing work that you are erroneously naming as your own. I'm astounded that no one else realizes this, and as it is, I can sum up more than enough proof to support this.

I really don't mean to disrespect you. Believe me, I really enjoy your work. Especially with the Cel-shading texture packs (Which I have no problem with, that clearly is your own work). But you can understand my position. As the Community Retexture Pack textures in particular are not yours. (And I recognize them when I see them, as I've played through it a multitude of times with it)

I think i was clear that MY WORK is redone the size , color , adjust texture for the N64 game.... But with this PM, i realise that some people don't know that. Plus as you can see, this person see OOT community texture pack , yeah it's true , it's written at the first page.

So maybe i'm tired to listen or read things about my work. I decided to stop emulation pack. So if people want to uncompressed and use it , simply do it, never minds. I have done this pack only FOR YOU, and i thinks this MP is the one who tell me : i must stop make people happy.

So sorry, if you like or love the pack , you can play with it ^^ but now the adventure of retexturing is finish for me.

Well, I think I speak for us all when I say that we hate to hear that you're done. Maybe this was the straw that broke the camel's back, but I hate that you would let this particular individual stop you from doing something that has been praised and appreciated by many (myself included!). I wish you luck on your future endeavors, Djipi!

Hey Djipi, I've had this site bookmarked for some time just to follow your work, and now I've made n account just to say this:

If you really enjoy retexturing games, and it seems like you do, you by all means should NOT allow this one individual to get in the way of that! Through hours upon hours of work and soul, you've enabled me and countless others to revisit some of our favorite stories of all time, with fresh aesthetics. When I played OoT as a kid, I never imagined that I'd be playing it with way better graphics as an adult! It blows my mind, and we all have YOU to thank for some of the greatest texture packs out there. I certainly don't use anyone else's anymore. I for one was out-of-this-world excited for the Majora's Mask 2015 remaster, and now the thread seems to have been deleted... :cry:

I'll definitely be disappointed if the new MM remaster doesn't happen, but in the end you gotta do what you think is right for you! :tup: :)

The reality is, Djipi, even if this guy DOES "call you out on it" in his threads...so what? More people are going to be really really happy about what you're providing. You have a ton of supporters. The people upset about it will be in the minority along with whoever sent you that message. If I'm not mistaken the Community Pack was created partially to be shared with THE COMMUNITY...this can't be a difficult solution to figure out, and I honestly don't believe it should put an end to your work, Djipi!

Don't worry , if the MM pack will finished i will distribute it . I have delete the thread because i don't want to make some hope about this pack. But majora's mask pack will be my last pack.
