  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

@Vivi97 this is an English forum, from what I got, this has nothing to do with the twilight princess styled re texture pack

XD Anyway I may start working on textures again, just need someone to give me an area to work on and a save game for that area.

I was just about to ask the same thing about the release of V5 Pack. If a new topic of the V5 Pack will be released, will it be announced on this topic as well?

There is no new topic from release to release. It'll be announced here, and be available on the first post, when it is ready. Please, folks, just have patience--these things take time, both to create, and to organize/publish.

More importantly, the less we are rushed, the better the quality of work we will produce. If you're interested in seeing the pack released sooner, by all means, take part in the process! We can use all the help we can get!

I haven't had the chance to do any work on the project recently, but I hope to get at least a little work done soon, and finish the rug textures.

Very busy with work, and a lot of other things, life in general :p

I still check this thread daily at least...

Oh man, all this re-texturing stuff is a neat piece of art! n64 games looks like a fucking wii game now! my god. I'm amazed in the quality of all this, i read through all the pages so i can be up-to-date on all this re-texturing stuff and man!, i'm fucking amazed at you guys.

Can't wait for that V5 version, nintendo should freaking hire you guys.

I really need to work on some textures, just lately haven't being able to get up the motivation to do any tho :(

although xZabuzax might wanna lay off the F bombs, he does make a good point, the work these texture artists do really does breathe new life into these already timeless classics....in a sense bringing the graphical quality up an order of magnitude - to almost official HD remake standards in most cases. It's crazy. But it really says something to the importance of what you do when you know full well you can no longer go back to the vanilla game of Ocarina of Time when you have used either this or Djipi's texture packs which both offer distinctive very different flavors though both are awesome all the same. I only wish it were possible for all games on all platforms to be retextured or similar. But the best we can do for PSX for example is custom shaders which is also awesome. But it's not quite as striking as retexture work. You guys deserve all the credit and praise that you get because I believe that without you the n64 scene would be dead. I think you guys are keeping it alive and relevant in the emu scene with your texture work. And that's awesome.

Hello again everyone. Great to see the project is still alive and rocking!

My apologies for my long absence and silence in this community. I won't give details as to the reasons, just suffice to say "life changes" that put everything else on hold. Some things, indefinitely.

I'm at a point now where I can continue to contribute to the project once again. Not yet with the same speed and fervor that I had before, but perhaps soon.

I'm sure lots of things have changed since my last visit, and I've got a ton of reading up to do (that I have barely even started yet). So let me just ask if the textures of the Fire Temple I have completed are even needed anymore.

If so, I'd be more than happy to upload the files. If not (if they've already been covered by someone) then I'll take that as a sign that the project has continued at its feverish pace, which is fantastic news!

Let me know either way. If the Fire Temple has not been completed, and my files are needed, then I'd be happy to start work on it again and tidy up where I left off (though it will be at a considerably slower rate).

Oh man you can do this!!! this community needs your godly skills, this project is WAY to good!. I hope all you dudes get the motivation again and continue this awesome project, you dudes made this look just like a next-gen system.

I tried but i just couldn't, i needed to let it out or i would probably explode out of sheer excitement... or maybe implode...
