Well, that blows. <_<

*flips the "YouTube Poop Player" switch and makes FlotsamX watch it all day* :x

Umm....
I'm not totally sure of progress, or much about
what's going on.

Though I don't really think this is any sort of problem,
at least, I would think it wouldn't be anymore,
I can read Japanese if there is any help needed.

But, like I said, at this point, that doesn't look to be the problem.

Er, sorry if I'm asking this at an inappropriate time, but where might I find the latest IPS translation patch thus far? The last one I could find was on page twenty-something; has there been an update since?

Thank you.

Gosh, I'm sorry, but I seem to be getting a "bandwidth exceeded" message at the provided link.

Same here... TT.TT

Dunno, but... I could have sworn the last time I played
it said "mura" instead of "town," before...

Maybe it's just me...

And, is there a way to make all of that... not black?

Are you planning a more effient way to type out English names? It takes like 3 minutes to type out my name using that wheel. >.<

Oh, and if you wanted, I could do the translations for all the animal names.

But thats about it, cause I don't know how to do coding or anything. :0

So quick question...there's no way for AF to actually load the time, right?

Heh, it would be pretty sweet if someone actually implemented a time-getting feature for this game in their emulator.

It might be possible... I think Animal Forest might have the Japanese-only feature of being able to read off a Nintendo 64DD's internal clock, so like Martin converted the DS's internal clock to the computer's, we could convert the DD's to the computer's. But that can't be done with just the game, it would have to be a P64 modification.

They are working on a mass overhaul, but as with most beacons of hope, I can really expect nothing less than for this work of art to be canceled within a few months.

EDIT: Nevermind...

I was experiencing extreme slowness with Project64 1.7. The debugger showed that 85%-95% of the lag was coming from the r4300i emulation.

PJ64 1.6, Mupen64, and 1964 all worked full-speed.

How many times have you seen it happen before?

I have seen this happen many times before, and i wouldn't be surprised to see it happen to this project, however seeing that this thread has been ongoing for, oh say, 4 years, it would be a huge waste to just throw it all away.

I for one support this project 100% and i HOPE it isn't dead as i haven't seen any of the team post on here for a while (roughly two months)

btw, MY FIRST POST
