Well, netplay just calls me, as many of you know. You might be pleased, schibo, that as soon as anything is puiblic, I will be working on it and getting a sort of tutorial up on my site, like I did for the pj64k's, and will still do. Do you have any objections to this, and, when should I start putting things up? When the beta is public? Or when it's final? Simply, how far long is final going to be after public beta. Even simpler, which version should I report on, the public beta, or the final version? Will there be a large enough time difference between releases that I should do different reports? Thanks much, schibo, for putting this together, and to rice, and other people that i'm a n00b and I don't know about but deserve recognition for.

Domyou have any problems with this? Cuase if you do, then I dont need to change all the title for my website. However, I would like to do a tutorial on this netplay emu, and so changing the titles isnt that big of a problem. Could I put, instead of "Jimbot's Unofficial PJ64k Support Page", "Jimbot's Unofficial PJ64k/1964k Support Page" (or whatever you want effecively 1964k called. Remember, you want a unqiue identity, so make it sound like pj64k isnt the best thing perhaps)

well, I'm running through testing everything in the GUI, and it looks good so far. The only issue with a quick release that I can see is the sheer quantity of games that are playable with this release.

edit: disabled my inability to spell.

A private forum for us will be here shortly. This will make things a lot easier for getting you binary updates since i've already fixed a number of the bugs that have been reported, and we'll be able to post reports there and such..

At your service, dood!
Banjo-Tooie's Intro sequence seems to be completely in sync with your audio plugin Schibo, very good! might be with others because of the new core, but well done on that!

1964 0.9.9 is bloody fast, i have to admit that.

I've been playing various things, and I have to say that the audio in this is better even than the audio in mupen64, and I thought mupen64 had it good.

I hit over 245 fps in pilotwings if I don't turn on the frame limiter....

I know that I already posted this message, but I have to say it again.

I am impressed that everyone is impressed, If this is 1964 0.9.9, then I will definately not hesititate to use this emulator right away. I have been waiting for this, and now I know this isnt an exaggeration (crazy quote I know) and Im excited that this is a reality.

Quick, so far pretty much bugless, its really fast, no dirt about DK64 yet, great audio, what else could I, or anyone ask for???????

since you are pushing the dk bit, I'll play it for an hour or so tonight and let you know. I've tried to play it extensively in the past (pre .99 beta) and found it to be a sickening experience.

Has anyone tried the new netplay? I haven't actually played games online with anyone else yet, wonder how this feature really works.

Ok, DK review time....

I had a limited amount of time to play this, so this doesn't cover the whole game or anything, but the gameplay is very smooth. It doesn't jerk around, DK moves smoothly and everything looks fabulous.

My personal favorite is that when you do a bananaport or use a barrel to switch kongs, you don't have to change counter factors to make it work, it just does. I haven't gotten to a point where I'm playing the barrel games, so if someone points me to a save somewhere close to that, I'll check it out.
If there's some detail you want that I don't cover, let me know... oh, and the sound... will make you cry, cause it's so good.

Edit: I'll take a quick look at nba hangtime. I'm not a big fan of sports games, I must warn you.

edit2: I took a glance at hangtime. It's pretty. Really pretty. It seems rather slow, so I'm going to have to fiddle with settings, which I hate to do, so I'll let you know again once I'm there.

I'm Ok for to test the netplay, for example F-Zero X (U) or Super Mario Kart (E). These games works correctly with PJ64.

Karth95:
The reason I mentionned DK64 to the testers is because Schibo mentionned that it was supposed to be smooth without changing counter factors. DK64 is known to be nasty with the counter factors.

I am glad that the sound isnt popping like it used to with Azimers audio plugins (I know its only the game doing it not the plugin). As for the barrell shooting parts, well that is one of the larger concerns I had with DK64.

I will try to get you to the 1st barrell shooting, unless of course I already have a stored savepoint (I havent played DK64 emulated in awhile, only on the N64 have I played it the last few months).

edit: remember users I am not an official tester, yes keep stressing it but surely someone will think that I am one sooner or later

1964 and PJ64K are not compatible. You have to play other guys with 1964, not with PJ64K.
