hi do you know how to downgrade geforce4 drivers when i try to install drivers older than those that i have i get messages like "nvidia chip not found" and others

i just downloaded the new drivers for my jaton sonicwave sound card, and happens the strangest thing: when i have the new drivers installed the sound is cracked, but when i use the old ones i get good sound (doesn´t cracks) but is a poor sound can someone tell me how to fix it?
