  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

Sounds good. Also, whatever happened to Zeckron and Chieftain? They were really good. Not saying anybody doing work right now isnt any better, but you know, the more the merrier. I havent seen any posts from them recently.

When I try to load the v.4 texture pack with glide64 I get a runtime error after I load about 700 or so textures.

The pack works fine using 1964 video / rice 6.1.4 but it always crashes at the same spot with glide64.

Any ideas?

I don't know much about this whole emulation thing but, id say try reinstalling glide 64 and make sure you have the latest release as well as maybe posting some of your PC specs so someone like D--D can help you when they get on.

btw its recommended to use 1964 video for this texture pack because its the only plugin that its 100% compatible with, so no need for glide 64 :O

its a pj64 issue, enable compression and cache compression.

I've been playing with this pack for a good 2 weeks now, and even got a group of
pals to play along.

I am in the process of creating a crapload of textures for the water temple, and
more for those temples that arent completed.

How exactly do I contribute?

I think part of the Water Temple was done, but I remember someone putting their pack for download for Water Temple like the walls, and symbols on the huge blocks.

@XavierAnderson all you need to do is upload your work, but I must warn you just because your work is posted doesn't mean it will make it into the pack.

When i have the textures loaded up and i choose to play full screen @ 1024x768 resolution is it just stretching everything or does it somehow convert it to widescreen?

Good work, I like them. Perhaps with slightly wider rings and a smaller radius of the inside one it might look a bit better, though I'm not really sure.
Still I think they look pretty good:)

Did you get a chance to test the bazaar background? I'm not sure what else should be improved.

I'm thinking of starting with the bombchu shop which is a bit similar to the bazaar.
Is anyone doing the bombchu shop?

@hyperion86 welcome back! I haven't being able to test the bazaar background yet, I'm having problem with some code in the plugin that pissed me off so I haven't touched it for a couple of days.

Hello emutalk folks.

I've been following this project for some time now, downloading the major versions and some of the smaller retextures as they've come along. And I'm very impressed. It's great to see people who really love this game and want to contribute to it as much as you guys do- you're very much appreciated.

While I'm not fluent in coding, I do have minor-ish talent in the graphics sense, so I'm just letting you guys know I'm here if you need any additional help.

Keep up the awesome work, this is legendary.

Here's a partially new texture. The focus is the design on the bottom. If v1 is liked better still I'll re-make it with the corrected coloration/ect
I might use the top and bottom stripes of he bottom v1 in the new v2
Also will likely use a better base texture for the bottom of v2

Thoughts?
