  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I'm using Glide, but I think D--D reccomends a different plugin.... Sorry I cant be of much help... like at all. But someone who actually knows what they're talking about should be able to help you. But as far as I can tell the Glide64 Napalm WX release video plugin works great for V4 for me. But doesnt work for V5 as far as I know...

I have glide as well , but glide doesnt have anisotropic filtering. Also for some reason, when i use glide and try to open the sub screen, it makes the background picture become glitched while im in the sub screen menu. Il try and take a screen shot to show you.

This pack will only support the latest 1964 Video(Rice Video), any backgrounds made for the pack will not work in Glide64 and any animated textures will not work in Glide64.

No, how many times do I have to to tell people, 1964 Video is not limited to 1964. 1964 Video is a newer version of rice video.
I myself don't even use 1964.

Am I the only one who can't get anti-aliasing to work with the 1964 plug-in? I get a "Can not initialize DX9, check your direct settings" error if it's on any setting other than 0xAA. Rice's plug-in does not have the same problem.

the Dx9 plugin does not support antialiasing.

Ok sooo, im experiencing another problem lol -_- every time i go through zora river, about half way through it project64 abruptly crashes :/ no error or anything just automatically closes. It always happens in the exact same location :( Any ideas?

EDIT: Redownloading the rom fixed it -______-

@DD updated my emu package (sig) with r73 plugin
more importantly I tried to update directx but I already had the latest ver. and sdk.
I really think it's a bug in r73 =(

1964 video r73 crashes in....


1964 emu version 0.9.9 (crashes with the following, r67 works fine)

project 64 emu v 1.6 (no 'exception' caught, just crashes, while the jabo default pj64 plugin does not crash, nor does video plugin r67)

project 64 emu v 1.7.0.49 (r67 and default plugins work fine)

P.S. this directory D:\My Programs does not exist on my system >.<

I posted a while back about it but...
You can force anti-aliasing. with the nvidia control panel or a similar ATI tool....

Also I'm making beter textures (from scratch) for the 2 textures used as the shop controls originally made by hyperion

@Chazerox delete your 1964Video.cfg, this should reset you settings to default. Tell me if problems still occur.
I'll be releasing a newer version back under the name "Rice Video"

I used fresh copies of the emus and plugins for testing. Unless it's getting settings from the registry everything was already at defaults.

I finished the remake of the 2 button textures for navigating the shops used in all of the shops. The analog stick isn't as good as I like, might go back and try to to a better job but it's good enough I think.

@flamestart Chaoszerox hasn't done any work on the actual shops.
@Chaoszerox I don't have that program so it is kind of hard for me to diagnose it.

Looks awesome! Only thing is that it doesnt really fit with this texture pack since as said in the first post, the textures are meant to only to improve on what OOT had and not to take away the feel of the game.

I could see these texures being used in a OOT hack or something tho

@Vivi97 there brilliant but they don't fit with this texture pack.
@chaoszerox I've started getting a similar problem now so with any luck if I fix that it should fix your problem as well.
