Uuuhm...so...just to say it for newbies like I am...
Is it different from rom to rom, or is an (E)-rom better, when you have the right sync, settings, whatever? :blush:

Disregarding sys req., get (U) or (J) because games are originally made in NTSC then converted (often badly) to PAL.. giving rise to point #2, assuming everyone is using Jabo's gfx, is a very good incentive not to use PAL.

Hmmm...but how come I sometimes read that there are some games the 1964 can emulate better, when using the PAL-version? e.g. in Duke Nukem-Zero Hour, I think...

Make sure you are using the following for getting the most FPS:
*external transforms for the graphical plug in
*use 16 bit textures.
*no antialising
*use Azimer's audio 0.4 beta & don't use audio sync and if possible don't use audio fix (+ use maximum buffer size!)
*run at 640x480 resolution

I use the Nvidia 23.11 drivers, and they are the fastest so far, even better than 27.00 leaked, and I have a GeForce 2Mx. So the drivers aren't your problem. DirectX might be if it wasn't installed properly, but I doubght it.
I use PJ64 1.4 to play Zelda: MM cause the sound is a lot better.
How does PJ64 1.4 run on your computer?

Hmmm...I got a problem (again :blush: )...when I don´t use "sync gameplay to audio", I get no sound at all...that shouldn´t be the case, right?

And another question: what is this "use v0.21 style audio" for anyway? I mean...are there games, where this shouldn´t be enabled?

If you use sync gameplay to audio that means you make the gameplay slow down so it won't go faster than the audio.
If you have a good CPU and good graphic and sound cards this should work...... donno why. specs?

o.21 style are better (I think) for good pc's with good soundcards.
if you have a bad one just like me, its better to turn it of...

HAHA surely not the specs! I tried 1964 with my old old pII 400mhz w/ 64mb ram and i got 40 - 60fps! Latest drivers? you mean 23.11 or leaked 27.10 ?


How are u gettin' that fps? i've got a slightly superior machine (k6-3, bigger cache than p2) and i can't get that...it maybe my gfx card though... what card u usin? i've only got this old voodoo 3 3000 PCI, i know i know....
