Hello, I'm experiencing problems with a few graphics in Zelda. For the most part, the game plays exceptionally well. Infact, the graphic problem is considerably minor.
However, the error in the graphics is the fact that the switches you step on just happen to be invisible. It's making it really difficult to get through the deku tree due to the fact that I just sorta have to pray and walk in random places to find them. The same thing happens in OoT, so I don't think it's the rom that's the problem. Also if I'm at just the right angle (I think slightly below the switch) it will show up, but that's just an absolute pain in the neck. Also the box you have to push into the water does the same thing, but it's less "glitchy" then the switch (But I think that's because the camera doesn't go above the box that often).
What I have tried is fidling with the graphic controls, but the switch wouldn't even show up in wireframe resteration which I thought very odd. I also tried switching plugins, but both plugins I've tried failed to work (rice64 & direct64). No one else seems to have this problem so...I posted.
My second issue with Zelda is the fact that the frame limiter limits the game to 50fps when I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be 60fps. It's not that my computer can't handle it because when I take of the frame limiter, for the most part it's in the eighties. Once in a while it dips to fifty in certain parts, but that I can live with because the n64 did that itself sometimes.
My comp specs are as follows:
Intel(R) Celeron(R) 2.0Ghz
192 megs of Ram
Windows XP
Video Card: Sis 651 00 (memory: 64megs)
The video card is internal, but again, the game runs fine except for the one glitch And I've run Mario64 without a single hitch (except for some sortof dissolve effect which I'm not entirely aware of, but that's what the project64 explorer says).
Edit: Epona is missing some of her legs in the intro, forgot about that. But I'm not sure if that's relevant and I could care less about her legs.
