Ok, what are the real facts?
If you mean the usual permission settings under Linux then fair enough, Linux has more secure settings (thanks to many many years of lazy Windows programmers). If you mean the internal permission system of Linux (rwxrwxrwx), then I would argue that Windows is better.
(for the record, when I refer to Windows permissions I am talking about NT, 2000, XP or 2003. Not 95, 98 or ME).
