Windows Vista System Requirements

Ok, what are the real facts?

If you mean the usual permission settings under Linux then fair enough, Linux has more secure settings (thanks to many many years of lazy Windows programmers). If you mean the internal permission system of Linux (rwxrwxrwx), then I would argue that Windows is better.

(for the record, when I refer to Windows permissions I am talking about NT, 2000, XP or 2003. Not 95, 98 or ME).

Don't complain about lazy programmers. I've seen loads of things, some that are multi-system apps, that has terrible GUI. Now those are for linux also and terrible GUI is lazy.
Anyway, the real point is that there are always lazy programmers. If Linux were more popular than Windows, then Linux would get those lazy programmers.

Why are you referring to me flow`` ? I haven't tested the Beta. And if you check the reviews of the CTP releases that came after the first Beta you will notice that there's a lot of improvement of course

It doesn't mean it will install 15 gb on the HD, but windows requires it to work properly by spamming a lot of crap on your HD.
