it organises my music good

Go download winamp 2, then get the mad plugin. The playback quality of MP3s in WMP9 vs MP3s in winamp with the MAD plugin and waveout doesn't even compare. Simply put, you can't get better mp3 decoding than what the MAD plugin provides.

Nice and polished... except I can't get the "sexy attached analyzers" plugin to work. Back to 2 for me...

winamp 2 = 2500k mem usage
winamp 5 = 8500k mem usage
i got around 400 songs..

I am proud, and confused, to say that both winamp5b2 and winamp2.81 are both going at 4000-5000K for me. I did no tweaking of any sort and they just started using less memory for no reason...
