And when you betatest, if you're doing it to be able to "play games", then you're doing it for the wrong reasions. All of us as testers understand that the reason we do it is to help the developers with giving compatibility from one build version to another, that way they know what's been fixed, and what been broken (meaning used to work, but doesn't anymore). This helps them find bugs, and at many times we try to help them with using debuggers, or logging operations as a game is running, etc....
