What do you guys do in your life? Well that's depend on the age too. Since I am 21 I'm not currently working and I study Psychology. A while ago we knew about Clements's case, so all the other people here?

I still havent started school. (I start the 5th of September) but this will be my 3rd year in high school out of 4... But eventhough Im big into computers now, Im probably going to go into electrical engineering or mechanical engineering, then into something like areospace engineering.

Oh and at my school, I hang around with the other computer guys, and we play around with the school network. It gets really fun when we proxy into blocked sites and the network admin starts yelling at us and sais "Dont FTP the site"

Hey, you know, we're alike in a lot of ways. I just started school 2 weeks ago, softmore year. I'm into computers too, although my knowledge is limited to what i've taught myself, because i can't take any computer classes until i pass intermediate algebra this semester. I'm probably going to into something along the lines of what you said too. my brother's in college right now at devry, he's taking this electronics engineering course or something, and i'm thinking of taking that too after high school. I've seen some of what he does in there, and it's looks really cool. He just started this year so he's just getting into the basics right now, learning about transistors, resistors, capacitors and electrical currents
and stuff. He has this kit, and he has projects and stuff he has to do at home, they just give him all the parts he needs to built whatever he's building, and he has put put it all together and make sure it works right and stuff. He lets me help him sometimes when he's assembling and soldering stuff. I helped him built a power supply, and just the other day this cool waveform generator. I was going around testing everyones hearing with it and freaking out my dogs. There's also a big plus also to going into this career, I hear it has a big ass salary, which is awesome. You what's weird though, just about everyone i hang out with at school is pretty much computer illiterate in my opinion. They're cool though, just not into computers.

Im taking Calc next year, Im taking precalc/Trig now (I already got my textbook, and it looks easy.) I want to get Calc out of the way before I go college, and so I can take non Euclidean Geometry, Algebra 3, and 4, and all that fun stuff. Im in an elective crunch (I still have required classes to take) so If that clears up, I will probably take programming, and AP programming next year. I have to be in Precalc/trig to take that class, so not many people get to take it. Only those who are good in math.

I'm going to college right now. I'm already got an associates in Computer Networking, and I'm working on getting a bachelor's in Computer Science. I also work at a local gamestop.

THIS MAY BE A QUOTE FROM ADAM SANDLER IN BILLY MADISON BUT, GOOOOOO!!! BUT SERIOUSLY, CALCULUS!? PARDON MY FRENCH, BUT YOU MUST BE A FUCKING GENIUS/SUPER GEEK! AND SOME PEOPLE ACTUALLY THINK ALGEBRA IS HARD! WELL, YOU JUST MADE THEM LOOK LIKE RETARDS! oops, left caps lock on there. But seriously, I feel retarded now just by being in algebra, calculus makes algebra seem like math for a first grader. And what the fuck does non ucleadian mean?

A man after my own heart... If Procrastination was a subject at school I would be a college professor by now. :p

I get that alot...
I also get: "Your a nerd" but thats mostly because I hate watching sports, and Highlights on TV.

And also keep in mind that Im going to taking Calculis as a Senior in High school. Its actually an AP class (advanced placement) where I get college credit. Im taking pre calculis now as a Junior. But Precalc looks easy, and I guarantee you that Algebra 2 will be easy.

Non Euclidean (my bad forgot the E) Geometry is... well there was a guy in like 300 BC named Euclide... well read what wikipedia has to say here but non Euclidean geometry (if Im spelling that right) is geometry where a triangle might not always have angles that add up to 180 degrees. Clements or some coder whos actually taken the class might be able to explain it better.

Edit: YAY 500th post!!! half of 1,000!!!... OK seroiusly, I have to stop doing this every 100 posts...

well, judging from that picture you posted, you don't look like a nerd imo. I don't think you can call someone a nerd just because they're smarter than you, but by their personality. But then again, i don't know you personally.

I hate watching sports too, my brother calls me a fag all the time for that. It's not that i hate sports though, i just find watching them on tv boring. I like playing sports, and sports video games, just not watching someone else play them on tv.

And yeah algebra 2 is pretty easy so far. But I don't think i'll ever take pre calc, calc, or trigonometry or other advanced math unless i have to in college. People always tell me i'm good at math and shit, but i never really liked math much, I only want to take what i have to.

Edit: and to all you people that say you have no jobs and do nothing all day, how do you even have a computer or house or anything at all? Are you like those 40 year old guys that still live with their mommies?

That kind of reminds me of a movie, I can't remember what it was called, about this guy who literally lived his life by the roll of the dice. Freaky...

I skipped two grades on Grade School lol but I do a lot of stuff relating to technology :bouncy:
Mostly do geeky and nerdy stuff but I also do sports! I love sleepy mornings and lazy afternoons so sometimes I sleep 13 hours per day.

Last time I looked in the mirror I was 34. But you're kind of right. My wife works two jobs while I sit on my skinny arse playing computer games and talking to you guys.

I am in the transition of a career change, though. I'm thinking of buying a new chair. My back aches... ;)
