  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

The Heart Sprites/Texture in Ocarina of Time's HUD

Hi,

I need help making the Skyward Sword Heart sprites/textures appear as is in Ocarina of Time. It seems like the image I'm replacing it with acts somewhat like a gradient. I thought that if I Hex Edit the ROM to turn its base color to white, it would do the trick but it didn't. The hearts appeared with a vivid/dark-ish pink, the white highlights weren't visible but I can make out the darker shade of pink the image I'm using has.

Now I'm thinking if it's possible to Hex Edit the values to use a transparent color instead of white (if there is such a thing). I'm also thinking that it has something to do with the texture's alphawhatsits.

I really hope someone here could help me out with this.
