I hope you qualify, with the way you are going you will most likely be the only British side to qualify! Wales are doing brilliantly, I have to give them all the credit in the World due to how they have gone from being useless to useful :)

It certainly was a nice change. :D

Somthing like 1 loss in 20 games now! (including games against Argentina, Germany, Italy, Finland - to name a few)

Just be glad the USA has little if any interest in soccer :p

Why be glad about it? Its not like you would win all the time if everyone got into it :p

I prey, not pray.
Well, basketball is our prime interest, and nobody, anywhere, ever, has defeated our dream team in that particular sport. They have been undefeated since day 1.

If we even gave a damn about soccer, you bet your ass the same thing would apply :p

And because we have the best looking flag in the world. You've got to agree with me on that one!

more like you kind of mixed your shield with your flag :p.. many countries have shields and flags.. they tend to look very diferent from eachother other than the colors.. the swedish shield is kind of "forgotten" and i doubt i would find a pic of it if i tried.. but it looks pretty nice.. and it's in a flag just like yours.. same with Chile (my old country).. in that country we too have shield and it was sometimes seen in the old days as a flag.. it's very impressive and nice looking thing.. but the real -flag- is the one used officially.. i'm not sure if wales ever had a real flag.. or if they've allways used a shield as a flag.. not sure.. i'm not into your history much :).. i do believe in sweden there's a shield for every region too though.. or maybe you guys also have a shield and it's alot "cuter" than that flag :).. that would be kind of nice to see if you can find a pic.. if that is the case that is :p..

The dragon standard was perhaps first seen in Britain in the shape of the "draco" a standard carried by the cohorts of the Roman legion. The Romans appear to have been inspired by the dragon standard carried by their Dacian and Parthian enemies and had adopted this device by the third century.

Despite its occasional use by other figures famous in Welsh history, the red dragon became the symbol of the Welsh nation through its adoption by the Tudor ancestors of king Henry VII.
