Slowdown problems on Goldeneye with PJ64 1.5

Does anyone know how to speed up Goldeneye while using Project 64 1.5?

Since my usage of Project 64 1.5 I've noticed considerable slowdown and lag with Goldeneye. With 1.4 Goldeneye was except for graphical problems in some outdoor areas.

It appears the new version (1.5) made some improvements such as the weapon sprite showing up on Doom 64. Also some of the graphical problems with Mission Impossible and Super Smash Brothers are now gone. However some other games which were perfect now have problems such as both Zelda's and Mario Tennis.

If anyone knows how to fix the slowdown and lag with Goldeneye as well as Perfect Dark I'd appreciate a response to this post.

Here are my settings and configuration

Jabo Direct3D 6 1.5 (graphics)
Azimer's Audio v0.30 driver revision 2.2 (audio)
N Rage's Direct Input8 V2 1.80a (controller)

AMD Thunderbird 1.2GHz
256MB DDR RAM
Asus A7M266 Mainboard
Nvidia Geforce 2 GTS with 32MB DDR RAM
Windows 98
Desktop resolution 1024x768@32bit

Thanks in advance for your help

first of all, jabo's direct sound is golden now, use that instead. Secondly, dunno about the speed. It all seems smooth for me. Try playing the games in fullscreen, that's always faster than windowed mode. And the last three options in the advanced tab of the graphics plugin do speed up gameplay a bit i think, but can mess some graphics up. (not always)

No, you still need a very high end system in order to play GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark in full speed. Here on my comp, both games are, let's say 95% speed. Only on wide open areas where many enemies show up, the emulation would slow down.
