I only have MSPaint for jpegs. And it makes them very low quality due to high compression, and most people have broadband, even though I don't.)

You should try IRFANVIEW (www.irfanview.com) , its one of the best capture/viewer/conversion programs, supports alot of formats, is small and freeware..

Hey lenselijer,
I'm confused. How did you manage to get music with Crazy Taxi if there is no sound plugin?

Ah I see. I'm assuming this only works with certain games eh? Cause I have it on when I play Bust A Move 3000 and there's still no sound.

just an advice.. don't use PNG for gameshots

why not? it preserves the quality, and isn't that large compared to the bitmap format, jpeg spoils the quality of images

it depend of what program you use. On Paint, PNG are, yeah, good quality and low size. JPG are low quality and ultra low size. But if u use photoshop, it can be really good quality and low size but still, you need to get/buy photoshop :p

I took them on a GF4ti 4200 64mb

i was also running the game on interpret if i set it to compile it runs at about 30fps in the intro and the game(the game does freeze after a few seconds though)

i thought out of all the games i have that this one would be one of the slowest but apart from the 2d games its running the fastest!! :D

btw i have a amd xp2800+cpu

Just to prove it :p
This shot is taken when the display list optimization level is set to COMPILE

timeplit2faster.jpg

Also when ya first load the game all the gfx are messed up so you have to turn on overlay statistics then disable it again which will get rid of the error
Its a damn shame i cant play the game without it crashing because its in a playble state(fast enough too)!
