  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

Rice Plugin- not working

I got the Rice plugin yesterday and I tested it out on a few games and I can say without a doubt: It does not work for me. Main reason I got it is for the hi res textures for a couple of ROMS...

I tested it without any new tex packs just Vanila and i get black screens, it also crashes when I try to leave Fullscreen... So I then tested SSB with a hi res pack. The intro video played for about 5 seconds and I get a black screen like the other ROMS for everything after that. Audio is fine, no stuttering.

I followed the tutorials laid out on the this section of the forum and nothing is on my screen!
What am I doing wrong?

PRO: AMD A8-4500M APU 1.90Ghz
4 Gb RAM
64-bit
AMD Radeon 7640G
