Yes, you did post a couple of screenshots of Resident Evil 2 before anyone else did, but it still seems unlikely that you would be the first one to see it running in Project 64. I guess Jabo should now what parts of it is supported by looking at the grahics code in the rom, Zilmar should know if it is compatible with the core and Smiff should be the first one to figure out which settings it need.

But still, you were the first non Project 64 related person to manage to get Resident Evil 2 running, I will have to give you credit for that.

I don't like to post bugs.... but...

I have an Duron 950Mhz and a Savage 4 Video Card.

I can run the emulator for about 3 minutes, then it locks

Anyway, this is a good emulator!

Hi B*A*G*G
I never saw that you post you made, but i did follow the link provided by Remot.

Now yes it they are very nice shots but.
As i am trying to check & correct any cheats for these games, in case they ever become compatible in PJ.
I need to be able to get into the menu & start checking.
Now although you posted your shots, unlike maximusXP, you never said how you got it to work.
(for me that bits a little imported)
So thankyou maximusXP, altough the gfx of the game is far too bad to play, at least its got me into the menu :)

ARGH! Someone should make a big post reading:
Savage 4 cards will not work!
SORRY, BUT THIS HAS BEEN ASKED SO OFTEN

But if we have a big post for each thing that has been asked too much then we'll have to go to the second page to see our normal posts

Hey all, I was wondering if Project64.rdb could be updated for PJ64 to run "Bakuretsu Muteki Bangaioh (J)" !?
So far, it is listed as having a "display plugin problem", I dunno if that's a emu limitation or the .rdb file which need tweaking.
Anyway, thanks for reading.

Great job Smiff!

AH this new RDB is great! Thps1 is going good you just need to use the 1.3 plugin though (I use a All in wonder radeon) 1080 is running the best I have ever seen it and it doesn't crash at the end of races anymore and I can quick save. Thanks Smiff for such a great job!

Some of these things are harder to fix then others like for example: Pokemon snap <-- stupid game (but fun) but just weird that it can't be fixed. Or so it seems. Thanks Smiff for the work (or whatever its called)

Bugs in Waverace 64 (U) and F-Zero X (U)

Look at my picture of Waverace 64 on PJ64 v1.4 with the last RDB.
How resolve this problem ?

Thanks.

Shadow Runner, I'd love to see that game working too! :colgate:

but the problem lies in the display plugin (jabo's gfx 1.4), and probably cannot be fixed via the rdb. The emuator (pj64) seems to run it fine, u can here some sounds.

It seems that some, myself included, need to check "force depth enable" under the advanced options to fix that problem.

speaking about the no distribution rule...

why does ngemu.com have a whole post on the beta wip of the rdb? hmmm seems someone needs to tell them to actually read smiff's post:

NGEMu.com:

"Rather old news, but hey we got to catch up on these as well: Smiff published a windows help file (seems to be cool these days to make these ;)) with game specific compatibility infos, so hopefully questions will stop to repeat itself. You can download that help file by clicking here.

Furthermore, a new RDB file has been released in this thread by Smiff, and he's currently looking for some input (only lousy 16 pages so far ;)), so if you get different results than provided in the file, make sure to leave a note there."

if smiff has allowed them to post about it then i'll eat my own foot kthnx

hey, hey hey hey, all sites have been very cool about sending people here, this isn't a secret and I couldn't tell people what they can and can't post about anyway :D

The more people testing this the better. What I need to do is work on this, but I'm reading and will get back to it.

Just thought i would let u know of a problem i have had with ridge racer (U) [!].
When playing the car attack mode the emulator crashed and would constantly crash if i tried to select the one car i had gain through this mode.
I solved the problem by changing the audio plugin, i was previosly using Jabo's directsound 1.4, by selecting Zilmar's audio plugin the game now works fine.

anybody else had this problem or is it only me??

BTW the rest of the game works fine with jabo's directsound 1.4 it was only the car attack mode that caused me the problems

i don't know if this matters but sometimes when the sound gets cracky it helps to goto the sound plugin settings and hit ok :p

thats with the 1964 sound plugin in pj64

just thought i would say that :p
