This might be off the wall but watta bout something simple like the Wii logo?

Nice, funky, simplistic and modern; which is what we associate Nintendo with.

The more way out futuristic designs just take us further away from the original Nintendo blueprint that, let's face it, cant be bettered.

Kinda hard to read if it were a logo, but when it's big it's nice...

i think the n64 is a console 4 kids (most games r very colorful and seems to be directed to kids)

so i make this logo (photoshop)
