Icepir8's OpenGL plugin is as good as it gets... :D

Two ways of retriving it...

1) Head over to www.emulation64.com and locate it in the download db...

2) Search for Icepir8 and bring up all posts made by him, look at the subject, i.e OGL plugin 0.7.6... There is a lot of good material in there... :D

And then you have Schibo's, author of 1964, port of Gerrit's, author of SixtyForce, OGL plugin... Avalible at www.1964.com

Seeing as how remote already answered your question, I feel I should add a few comments of my own. First off, sadly enough, N64 emulation lacks OGL support as of the moment. The majority of the plugins out there, which doesn't say alot seeings as how there are only a few, are primarily DirectX based. This while good for others are bad for some, especially those with Nvidia GF cards. The speed of the current OGL plugins are below par which is bad because OGL is supposed to be faster than DirectX and Nvidia cards should see a boost in performance with OGL not a decrease. Now granted if you have a fast enough computer this wouldn't matter as much, but when a OGL can barely get 60FPS with a 533 P3 without sound in Mario64, you know something is wrong.

Don't take me wrong, I'm not dissing the OGL plugins or anything here. I'm just saying that it needs improvement especially in speed and options. Hopefully one day Icepr8 can prove me wrong. :)

Get off your ass and do it yourself.

hmm...what about UHLE2064's gfx plugin, that should work in PJ64, no? I think I tried it at one point with 1964 and I think it worked but I can't remember...

Orkin's Ogl is nice too (less compatible (fewer games), but the performance is rather good IIRC). Note tht it's currently a nVidia only plugin. The next release should support more graphic cards (the nVidia extensions will be optionnal).

The Xengine's Ogl flavour works in PJ, and it's pretty speedy :).

Thanks for the reply

GLnintendo64 doesn't seem to work in the least bit, every time I attempt to open a rom it tells me it failed miserably.....

By the way the ONLY games I am trying to play are Zelda OoT and Majora's Mask...
