11/01/04:64th Note v0.08

This should be the last 64th Note update in a while

* Uses less memory
* Track title defaults to file name
* Non-broken amplification

Nothing terribly exciting, but the better memory usage lets it run on some computers where it couldn't before.

Great release HCS !!! Keep up the good work, N64's music sounds excelent :)

No, as it is derived from already existing plugins. The purpose is to allow you to play music from N64 games externally as tracks playable in WinAMP.

New Release!
04/19/05: 64th Note v0.09

I've been running this around in beta testing for a few weeks now and I haven't heard of any crashes, so here for public consumption is 64th Note v0.09.

What's new:
* Fixed uninitalized STATUS reg (PJ64 save state bug). This fixes the problem where playing certain track in order would freeze, for example Pilotwings after Perfect Dark.
* Cleaned up RSP setup/teardown.
* Fixed a minor, unimportant registry bug.
* Removed a lot of useless error messages and rephrased the important ones ("what's in code?" now actually tells you you're using an old USF, "seeking backwards not supported" is removed, etc.)

People who used to experience a lot of crashes report that v0.09 hasn't crashed at all.

Get it from:

PS: Excellent! :)

I noticed that a preliminary rip of Mystical Ninja - Starring Goemon is up. Rejoice! :D

Indeed, I finally get to listen to the horrid quality Impact theme compared to the soundtrack; which, is a good thing.

They have the songs the soundtrack left out.. almost 75%. :D
