What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.
  • As members seem to have a problem reading the release threads:

Djipi's packs are built for the (Glide64 finale) Plugin. Nolonger supported!
Djipi's packs are built for the (GlideN64) Plugin.
These two Plugins are two completely different pieces of code.

GlideN64.HTC archived packs locked by Djipi are not compatible with use on Glide64, Rice video, nor Jabo video.

Glide64.DAT archived packs locked by Djipi are not compatible with use on GlideN64, Rice video, nor Jabo video.

Djipi has never made a pack for use with Rice video and never will. any packs found in this format are not authorized!

GlideN64 is the new standard and only requires an Radeon 6XXX.
This is a somewhat older GPU and should be readily available.
Do everyone a favor and upgrade!

Merry Xmas: OOT 2011 and MM 2001

I have Create a folder Cache in the Plugin Folder.
I have enable Save Texture to Hard Disk.
PJ1.6 is checked als Admin.
But they will not load the new pack. :-(

Alright, now try to enable "Use alpha channel fully" under texture enhancement options. I got the textures to load in 1.6 using the settings mentioned above with this one.

Make sure you're putting the new .dat files into the cache folder.

Use alpha channel did the trick. Thanks ;)

Yay, I finally got it working as well! Here are a few things I want to say:

rizz768: Thank you for hanging around here and helping out! Merry Christmas! :)

Djipi: This is an amazing Christmas present, thank you so much for all your hard work, both packs are just gorgeous!

Everyone: Make sure "Compress texture cache" is checked as well, it's right under "Use alpha channel fully".

Have a great Christmas all!

Want a Wind-Waker style HUD to play Djipi's Ocarina of Time pack with? Goes great with Gamecube or Xbox 360 controllers.

I am not the original author of this code, but it's been obscured over time so I thought I'd re-post it for you guys! It will arrange the C-buttons, the A button and the B button HUD objects to look similar to Wind Waker or Twilight Princess GC's HUD!

Works only with Ocarina of Time 1.0 U. Sorry!

- Create a folder called "Cache" inside your Plugins folder and place all the new .dat files from Djipi inside it. (for PJ64 1.7 you'll create the cache folder in the 'Plugin>GFX' folder)
- Go into your Texture enhancement options and enable ""Save texture cache to hard disk" and "Use alpha channel fully"

Is this in addition to, or in place of the hires_textures folder? If in addition, what do we put in the hires_textures folder?

What I mean is, I've used the hires_textures folder before with textures, not with a DAT file. Thats where I'm getting confused. is it that Rice wants the texture files but Glide wants the DAT?

You don't need to use a hires_textures folder at all with these. Just put both files in the Cache folder, enable "Save texture cache to hard disk", "Compress texture cache", and "Use alpha channel fully". Then it should work great.

Edit: Goodness iFlaXify, you've played through OoT fast!

This has to be one of the greatest things i have ever seen, thanks Djipi for such a wonderful piece of true art work. This has been worth the wait since last year and what a terrific gift it has made, Thanks ever so much. Th3JoshT

One of the menu screens to seems to not load on my computer. What are other people's settings on Glide64 plugin?

I'm having this same problem. I followed rizz768's instructions and just started a new game on Majora's Mask and I've already noticed some other textures, besides the inventory, aren't loading correctly.

You Inspire Me

Yo bro.

I've been following your progression as you have released packs over the years, and all i can say is that artists like you inspire me. Giving something for free without necessarily having expectation of getting something back, i love that quality.

Thanks thats all i can say. :)

Yeah, I think there are some text problems. Like I notice that some commas are still not loading. Also, I think the map in Mountain Village when it turned into spring didn't load correctly. I'm still not sure if I have all the settings correct. But still, this is an amazing Christmas present.

Thank you Djipi for this awesome gift! :) I can't stop playing. Hahaha. Also, the lens of truth not working is just a glitch in the game itself right? That was quite annoying during the Snowhead Temple area...

with the (E) version of majora's mask , there must be not problem , after many test , i see all textures load correctly^^But you must Uncheck Alternative CrC calculation on glide64

Tuerie Djipi !

J'attends d'avoir oublié les Zelda, encore trop frais dans ma tête, pour les recommencer avec ton pack, mais ça se fera !

Merci :p

I can confirm this. Downloaded the (E)urope version of the game, the textures that I didn't see loading in (U) are now loading. Sweet! :)
