snapsot's message is:
SmartMedia is ejected.
Please restart N64

and UP is Mario no photopie.
Down is 64DD Capture Cassette

so there is 64DD Capture Cassette, this game requires so the 64DD

Mario no photopie unsupported Mario Artist.
and Mario Artist unsupported Mario no photopie...

I think he is saying that neither of the games supported each other, ie you couldn't use Mario Artist with Mario no photopie, and vice versa.

That's really cool! It seems as if the author of Nemu experimented with 64DD support at one time or something. really cool though!

I believe that warning screenshot (on the previous pages) says something to the effect of "The Smart Media protection has failed. Please turn off the power and fix the problem." (?)

ok i have Mario no photopie and i played it a bit: even without a SD cart, the game is working. And there is a mini game that is playable without a SD cart. So it's a protection afaik.

hmm it's more a I/O problem than a protection. the program is asking for the sd media reader, don't find it, so there is a warning. Just have to say yes there is a sd media reader but say there is no sd cart in the cartbridge and it should work

:bouncy:  :icecream:

and yes there was a problem of bad dump afaik

here what i get now with Mupen:

hmm ok i used Mupen wip.

but the good dump had been dumped recently

the [!] is bad dump and there is few bits of difference :)

it's like Jikkyou G1 stable that had been redumped: only few bits of difference but with 1964 the loops problem is fixed for instance

Anyway that don't solve anything about the problem of Mario no photopie :(

re

Hi,

I am not sure, but when I played the Game on my Pal N64 using Doc V64 jr, I think this bomb screen was not displayed.

On Pal N64 you can "play" it with heavy flickering screen and enter some menus.

yes i heard it's not displayed with a backup unit :)

which means that is not a cart issue but an emu issue
