  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I've been editing other peoples textures for other games for quite sometime, and I think It's time I took on a project of my own

Hey, just as you posted that I updated first post with 3 previews of Luigi's Raceway!

Any start is a good start, but the pack is looking very generic in it's early stages. Not bad though.

Well at first glance, it seems like you just applied Googled images as textures. Not saying that's what you did, as I'm sure you're better than than that. Eh, strike what I said, I'm sure this will end up really good, just keep with it!

I thinking of releasing track-by-track untill I'm completely finished, then at the end release one big pack

but it all depends on if people want them

There's some tilling on the water at Koopa Troopa Beach, it's far from serious or nasty though (best seen here: http://img125.imageshack.us/img125/421/mariokart642ch7.jpg). By "contrast issues" I mean that maybe some textures are contrasting too much with others, like this green weed-thing on the lower part of this rock-arch (http://img63.imageshack.us/img63/3063/mariokart645ed8.jpg). Maybe it's just my eyes being too picky though.

Anyway, great work you've done, the textures are really nice and blend in the MK atmosphere. :)

(the preview pics are really inacurate for that track and it looks much better now)
