To stop the people from asking:
Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2
Pentium 4 2.0 GHz
256 MB RAM
nVidia GeForce 4 MX 420
Create Live! Series Soundcard.
Alright, into the problem. When I attempted to emulate Majora's Mask on PJ64 yesterday, it worked perfectly fine. I was able to get the beginning of the Zora-themed levels. I did have to close the emulator suddenly, however, which may be the cause. Also, the game did crash when I was attempting to view my sword being reforged... Anyways, the reason I'm here is because MM refuses to load correctly. The emulation starts, the FPS spikes to 300-460, and the ROM never shows any video or animation of the opening scene. ALL of my other ROMs, including OoT, load perfectly fine (Although there is quite a skip in FPS in OoT now...). I was thinking that some code might have gotten screwed around with when I shut off the emulator quickly, that is, until I downloaded the ROM again, and it still failed. I'm figuring it's PJ64's current data on the ROM that is causing this. Alas, I am a noob who does not know how to configure this. Help is needed. I want to enjoy my beer and Zelda again .
P.S. [Edit] I have the ForceWare 70 drivers because these drivers are the only ones that allow me to run Doom3 without it appearing as a giant block of blue nothingness.
