what's the difference between this 'kiosk' thing and the proper game (except that one works and the other is unplayable)? It sounds crazy to me:angry:
Kiosk = display version, as in store display.
The problems with the regular game are probably related to some form of copy protection.

Without knowing the particulars, I have no idea why your Kiosk version won't run Chow Yun Fat. You may have noticed that the file size of the Kiosk is about 4MB shy of the retail. At some point in the game, can't remember where, you'll get stuck. The Kiosk doesn't appear to be the full game, which is no surprise if you ask me. I'd just wait for future emulators which may let you play the retail version.
