Jabo's GFX Plugin

Just wondering, will he still be working on it now that PJ64 is finished (again)? Or is that done too? If he is finished, he should consider releasing the source code. It's the best overall GFX plugin, and although he doesn't care about crappy video card, other people do :)

PJ64 is still alive but they are searching (?) for new programmers. He don't release the source code of his GFX-plugin (if you donate him $ 1.000.000 he might think about it:satisfied ). He has released the source-code of 1.4 already.

?????????????????????????
Jabo's is not the best plugin out there. Already, plugins are beginning to equal to his. So there's no need for him to release the source.

I hate to criticize that quote, but I think Jabo's plugin works the best of any plugin. Many would say Glide and Rices are starting to equal his plugin. I think that Jabo's D3D is still better, and it is definately the best to use with PJ64 since the plugin makes PJ64 stable, and what it is.
I know we all want the source for Jabo's GFX plugin, who doesnt, its Jabo's decision after all it is his work

meh ?
IMHO, the plugin which is closest to Jabo's is glNintendo64(), I personaly think that the next version will surpass Jabo's plugin, so, there's no need for Jabo to release the source code(though it would still be damn cool ^_^).

Excuse me if i'm mistaken, but I don't see an answer to my main question (is he going to continue working on it or is it discontinued along with PJ64?)

If i've understood correctly its discontinued and no source will be released - which i understand perfectly since Jabo made his gfx plugin with (pretty much?) no documentation of n64. Now there are the C headers, programming manuals, function reference manuals. Its much easier to do n64 emulation now.
But please correct me if im wrong here.

Glide, for example, is already emulating games more perfect than jabo's. The problem lies in eVoodoo, the wrapper. It was last updated when Glide64 was in little earlier stages.

But actually I would say that now, Rice's (mostly anyway) and Glide64 *is* equaling to jabo's.

I'd agree to a certain extent.
After my 'tests' with my small collection of roms I've found that:

Bomberman 64 - The Second Attack! (U) [!]
Diddy Kong Racing (U) (M2) (V1.1) [!]
F-Zero X (U) [!]
Paper Mario (U) [!]

...Work better with Glide64 for my system than Jabo's, while others look pretty much identical to Jabo's. Slight downside of Glide is that it is slightly less compatable. For someone with a Voodoo card, this list would be even longer.

Oh, and using the new Glide64 versions with eVoodoo...changing the Z-Buffer setting in Glide64 to W-Buffer is a must. Fixes lots of eVoodoo problems.
