HELP!!!! I am having the Nayru's love render bug!

Which Detonator driver will fix that???

:pj64: ROX!

Right now, I'm using Windows 98 SE, because of the Nvidia
infinite loop crashes sometimes, and I'm awaiting for the
Windows XP hotfixes.

hey.. i don't know if this has already been asked yet but how do i fix the pause/jerking problem in ogre battle 64. I'm using pj64 with all the defaults set and after a battle the game slows down and then starts to freeze inadvertantly. I think it's got something to do with the plugin dropping textures but i still haven't narrowed it down. I'm using a 1gig cpu, 512 RDRAM, geforce 3, windows 2000 machine. Any suggestions out there..?

i did.. still getting the problem if i either remain in a battle for too long or fight more than one battle... it seems to carry over to the map screen as well. I am running it in windowed mode.. 800x600. it seems like a buffer is not clearing out or something and making it chop after a while. any other suggestions?

Please stay on topic! Here you'll post only feedback for PJ64 1.5.If you have hardware problems there is a dedicated forum in Emutalk. Please no more off topic posts.

Bositman has a report for this in the first page: "Use 23.xx drivers".Or if you have the "infinite loop" problem with them you can try 12.41.

For the ppl that have Blast Corps v1.1 with the u-code detection error in the map can do this to solve this problem: Open the RDB file and under "Microcode Identifiers" add the following line:
426EA66D=0

Guru3d not so guru...

RJA, it seems 23.32 isn't "anywhere" but bosit sais the 23.12 should do the trick... didn't work for me though... ???

Banjo Tooie:

There are also pauses sometimes, but it's not that bad

The game randomely freezes/locks, sometimes it's after 5 min, sometimes after about 1 h of gameplay. When the game crashes, it freezes and you can't access the emulater with the escape key, you can only stop emulation by pressing F12.

I noticed that when you exit via F12 the game is saved after the last location you entered in the game, so it's not that bad. :D

Yeah Sheik i was wrong...thanks to 64ultramaniac you can go and download those d*mn drivers :p
I havent test it but it works for cooliscool
Also after testing the pausing issue i found out that the first pause ALWAYS happens after 40-60 seconds of pure gameplay(eg at mariokart start counting when you first see the level)

No RJA GF2 MX will do as good as GF2 GTS/Ultra/whatever it can display everything the only difference is speed.
Ill ask cooliscool which detonator he's using and getting the effect right so calm down :)

You are drifting away from the topic :D

I found out something about Banjo Tooie:

I think those pauses and crashes are the same. I mean, when the game pauses it seems like the cpu just has too much to do, even if i don't know yet if it is cause by the video plugin or not. Sometimes when it pauses, it just freezes.

To solve this: If BT freezes hit F2 to pause the emulation - wait some seconds - press F2 again and voila, the emulation goes on and you can advance in the game

Please test if it works for you too.

Should be mentioned in the rominfo/next game database, shouldn't it?

Athabaska,

I know what the failed to allocate memory error is about, probably: You have no page file (virtual memory is disabled)
or is not large enough.

!You MUST have at least a 192 MB pagefile!
