Azimer said:I don't mean to be rude... but I am a little tired of all these questions being answered with "Use 1964 or PJ64". What the heck is the point to an Apollo forum if you all just shove them off? I don't understand this. By posting here, I assume he needs help running it under Apollo. So why tell him to use some other emulator? Do you believe it's really that pointless to try to run anything under Apollo?
Anyway a2002adam, can you be more specific about your problem? If you need a graphics plugin, Jabo's D3D6 is the best to use under Apollo. You can get this from the last PJ release or from various websites that distribute it unauthorized.
Olax said:Apollo is great, it may not be as fashionable as 1964/PJ64 for whatever reason but it's compatability is close to 1964/PJ64 and a number of games only run on Apollo
More power to your elbow Azimer - well to your fingers anyway!

Rice said:Apollo's compatibility is actually higher than PJ64 and 1964 for the nature that Apollo is using interpreter at current moment.
Rice said:If comparing to 1964's and PJ64's interpreter, compatibility should be about the same. I know that Apollo is capable to emulate some unsupported games better than 1964, so I assume the compatibility in Apollo is very very good, just need a better graphics plugin to run such unsupported games.
Curious said:Hi
I have a problem loading DK64 with Apollo. My system meets Apollos criteria and I am using the Plugins the Read me file suggests. It loads beautifully but when you reach the movie with the Island it loops and then freezes each time.
Any suggestions as to how to fix this?
Thanks in advance.
