  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

Yeah I just repacked the other rar files, so you need to extract those as well.

Wow, I just tried this and I'm amazed at all that was done! Everything except the interiors of houses loaded for me. Can't wait till Orkin releases the plugin.

PS: Does anyone elses' pause menu take a very long time to come up when you press start?

Yes, it's an emulation problem.

If you search the thread, you'll find the menu textures that Djipi forgot to include.

Pre-rendered images--such as Link's House, Castle Market, etc.--won't be any different because Rice's current plug-in doesn't support it. At least that's what I picked up. They're encrypted or something.

Does anyone know the reason for sure? The pack does include the pre-rendered backgrounds, but I never have saw any of them being used.

Well, it's the (E)(M3) rom that I'm using, so the problem isn't just a (U) one.

hi there, i found that if you press f9 in 1964 then press the start it is much faster and when you get to the menu you just press f9 again

hope this helps anyone else who is having this problem like i was

I tried that it says there isn't anything in them:cry:. It asked for volume 1 id then 2 3 and 4. There was only 3 zips:huh:. I'm using IZark.

Can someone just split the pack into 3 or 4 45 Mb pieces. And NORMAL RAR FILES. Not some .part1 .part2 files. Normal files. I can put the textures where they go. By normal I mean like Djipi's complete cel mod except there are smaller packs. Here are insturctions if you need them :p. You have to have the pack on your computer and something to compress it.1. First open the folder the pack is in (example:C:/xxx/xxx/xxx/hires-texture/zelda)
2.Select about 50 mb of the items in the pack and compress them.
3. Keep making zips 50 mb at a time.
4. when your done post it here dial-up users can download it over night

That's how RAR files are split, guy. They'll always come out like .part1, .part2, etc. You can't tell it to be anything else.

There's a person here who split it into like 5 MB part RAR files for dial-up users. If you don't know how to use split RAR files, you're...pathetic. You just download all the parts and then open .part1. That's it.

Doesn't take a computer expert to figure that one out.

Edit: For a dial-up user, you sure have a lot of smileys on your sig. Do us all a favor and delete a few of them. You just may appear a tiny less lame.

I tried opening part one. It turns into more rars:huh:. The guy that posted them says to extract the other rars. but i tried that and theres nothing in them

Does anyone know why this game (texture pack) or no, runs so slow in Direct3D mode for me? I don't recall this happening before I formatted. I'm running a P4 1.7GHz, Radeon 9700 Pro, 768 DDR RAM (1X256 PC2100, 2X256 PC2700), WinXP SP-2, DX9.0c, and latest Catalyst drivers installed. =\

Yes, and not really. The subscreen cheat was merely incorporated into the RDB file and is automatically used. Not an ideal fix.

I figured out how to do it. The problem is IZark can't extract rars and I didn't have all the parts:p. The only textures that don't load for me are rainy sky, blue potion, the chicken, and Ruto's ear:(. Another thing I noticed is it runs alot slower and takes 5 minutes to load:(. But I don't really care because the pack is so awesome :bouncy::bouncy::bouncy:! Great work Djipi.

Hello, im new here

I have been tracking Djipi's progress for a while and now that its complete i, i try to downlod the pack and in the middle of downloading the DL freezes. I dont know whats wrong with it.
