What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart

Djipi's Final Cel Zelda MOD

Im Bored

lol@censors
I would have thought that upping the resolution would make it even worse? I believe the problem is, when you take something that should only be 320x240 and enlarge it, where it used to get smoothed over, it now isnt?

I dno. Either way, yeah, it seems to happen alot in N64 games. ah well

This is a form of clipping. It happens frequently on the actual cart. There's nothing that you can do without going in and changing the game's programming.

Is everyone still having problems with downloading? I've never had a problem with downloading the pack (it dosen't suprise me). The problem for me is I have the slowest modem of anyone on this site (26.4 kbps:getlost: ).

The clipping happens with me, but it isn't a big deal. You'd have to be very anal to get worked up over something that minor.

Just a random observation, but do the butterflies look more like flying books to anyone else? I never noticed it before emulating, but now they seem to lack their intended transparency on their texture. Even though I didn't see a texture for them in the pack (believe me, I looked) is it safe for me to assume that there is one and its lack of transparency has been (understandably) overlooked?

But isn't there a file that is his hair even if it's just yellow?
If polygons are just colored, the color information isn't stored as texture information. Hence, no texture file for colored polygons.

No. There is a texture of it being just yellow. If he wouldn't have made a texture, the game would use the default in-game one.

Uh, not only do you have to extract ALL of the files (split due to large file size) but you also have to untick "Hide Advanced Settings" on various menus. Seriously, no-one seems to read the stickies or search.

I don't know if anyone has posted this link in this thread yet, but I found this post very useful in getting the hires textures running. I'm using 1964. http://www.emutalk.net/archive/index.php/t-29577.html

I don't get why the textures were first ACE-compressed then RAR-compressed, but once I figured out how to extract both and followed these instructions, everything worked great as far as I can tell!

Not Working

MARTIN HOW DO YOU EXTRACT THE RAR FILES:huh:!!!!??? Every time I extract the file they turn into more zips:huh:. Does anyone know???:huh::huh::huh:

Hello, I'm most sorry if this has been posted before, but I'm too lazy to check all the replies sorry :( .. anyway, I have a problem with the texture pack, some textures won't load like they should (Some menu ones, Link's house, and probably more, didn't check more than that..)

I have the newest version of both Rice's Video Plugin and 1964, any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
