Doomulation
?????????????????????????
As the title states, my computer tends to lock itself up after som playing...
what I've researched on this is that it only seems to happen to snes emulation...
it happens randomly, using any game.
N64 seems mostly unaffected. Once it did lockup, and once it locked up after a *very* long time...that's not a big issue I suppose...
Also, when I tried ps emulation, I got a yet worse issue: when playing FF9 (yeah i know it sucks
), when getting to the first battle, windows shuts down with an error message saying an error occoured in nv4_disp.dll. Which, of course, is the gfx drivers...ugh. Downloading 20 mb on 56k is a pain...damn nvidia...why must you put all cards into the same file?!
So, clearly, the ps emulation is affected by the gfx drivers...could the others be too?
I don't have anything overclocked due to that it did cause instability.
Also, as I may ask, is there a way to make windows attach a network drive with user/pass OTHER than the login name? (Don't bug me, I know windows sucks... it's at school
)
