  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

That's weird though, because I tried Glide64 and it runs infinitely slower than Rice. I can't even play the game at 5fps, but Rice runs at the full 60 and even needs to be limited. I don't know what gives. Glide64 runs at full speed if I turn off the GLSL combiner, but then the colors are all messed up. :(

The problem you are having, is that Djipi is from France, so the menu text is in French. Any other language won't be hi res. I made English versions when he first released the pack a couple years ago. The pic of Link is a framebuffer problem. Try switching the framebuffer to default.

U must have a really slow pc and also MollyMutt - Where can I downoad this said pack of yours cuz Its cool and stuff

Afraid not. Brand new notebook with 2.8ghz core 2 duo, 4gb ram and an nvidia 9600gt. More than adequate for playing emulated games.

I'm also interested in the pack, please. =]

i have the same problem with it not showing Link in the menu, however if you look earlier on in the forum i posted a link for the entire game with the update for the menu at the top so atleast you will be able to resolve that issue. =]

i love it! just wondering though. how far done is the pack? I mean we will all wait for this wondrous pack, but i think we are all a little anxious. which is understandable considering how much life it breathes into possibly the best game ever made!
