What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

    I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Wow, Djipi, that's beautiful. VERY nice work, and I agree with Keits: you have gotten even better.

I've decided to hold off playing this again until your pack is released, the wait will be worth it.

Very nice Djipi!

I think I will play all the way through OOT for the first time with your new pack when it's done.

I know my little brother will LOVE it!

It's coming along beautifully. I played Master Quest with your previous pack, and I probably will again when this one is done. Keep up the amazing work. I just hope you got rid of the silly-looking smiling link from the first pages of this thread.

NICE, beautiful work Djipi. Can´t wait til you´r finished. Djipi, you have invested almost 4 YEARS into this. Your commitment is admirable.

Btw, you making your own Zelda title made me think of THIS game. Check it out. It´s actually a fast paced sidescroller Zelda (Ala Link´s Awakening). It´s actually pretty neat, give it a try. I´m also looking forward to try your little game there, it looks absolutely beautiful.

I don't get how you do it Djipi! It's looking amazing! Keep it up because it's one of the most consistent packs here. By consistent I mean nothing ever looks out of place. Great job and keep it up

Djipi, you're amazing! I never liked OoT, and I couldn't figure out why. Now I know--it was because the graphics were so bad that I couldn't stand it. Now I can enjoy this game, so thank you! :cheers:

I do have a question, though. Did you have any plans to add english titles to the inventory screens and the yes/no buttons? Right now, the graphics are missing so it looks very pretty except the titles and buttons are the old ugly textures. Forgive me if this was something you were already working on. =]

Also, I've noticed that when playing the game, the inventory screen glitches a bit in that Link is in the top-right corner, hidden behind the menus, and his place in the equipment menu is just a garbled mess. Also, your amazing walkway textures sometimes get clipped out depending on the camera angle. I'm using the US version of the ROM with pj64 1.6 and rice's 6.1.3 plugin. Am I the only one having this problem?

@kameisama,
You should get input from more than one person, but I've personally never noticed these issues. Perhaps maybe you installed the textures wrong? If you'd like, feel free to try my version (download link is in my signature).

@jacky,
It looks like you're having some kind of trouble with my download link.

The link is:

Not:

Forgive me if I've misunderstood you though.

Your texture compilation is what I have been using. :)

I have read this entire thread, and do not see any mention of my problems, but I still have them. Perhaps I should use the (E) ROM instead?

Jacky's problem is the exact same as mine. Nasty original textures at the top, and the character box is totally garbled.
