What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

For me, everything looks quite good except for Link. His face is terrible.

I kind of agree with you, but Djipi does have a point that the game takes a very serious turn at this point and Link should reflect that.. I'm not sure, but I do know that everything else looks amazing

I know this may come off as impatience, but how far along are you in your project? Like, are you keeping a list of the things you have completed, and the things you still have to do? If you are may I see where you're at?

I'm not telling you to hurry up, nor am I asking for a release date, I'm just curious to see where you are at. :)

The one gripe I have with Celda packs is that their ground textures are usually one solid color, and it isn't very attractive to me. For OoT, I used Dijipi's pack mixed with hi-res ground textures...you've done a very fine job, it's just certain aspects of cel-shading the ground fall flat...for everyone's pack.

I hope you can finish the whole game!

I wish I had Photoshop, but I'm stuck with gimp. :(

Solid colors? You mean like this?

Look, he was supposed to follow the style of WW, right? That´s what he´s doing!

I'd have to agree tyler. The solid colors work well with WindWaker because there's so few areas that have long stretches of a single color. With Ocarina there are so many regions that are lacking grass, active shadows, or paths. I'm not sure what he could do to make it look better. Maybe two or three tone. It's tough to say because I think a repeating pattern that was simplistic enough to pass as cel shading would probably look worse.

Hey man, I know you're a respected member of this community and I don't want to start an argument. Wind Waker consisted of islands, not grassy plains, rivers, lakes, etc. He's duplicated the feel quite exceptionally, however, it doesn't work for OoT. I think what he's SUPPOSED to do is follow his own creativity; so far be it from me to critisize him or you. =]

Heyy, no worries, i know you didn´t want to start a fight...;) I´m sorry if i sounded a bit rough... And ME, a respected member? Why, thank you :D

And Djipi, if that´s what you want to do, then that sounds great:bouncy:
