What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Zelda Hi-Res Texturer
The pebble or whatever texture looks too much like a snake skin on the statue. Perhaps something a little less detailed might actually look better. Otherwise, fantastic as always.

The pattern seems too harsh and geometric, loosen it up, make it look drawn or painted, and not sooooo strong...

don't worry it's just WIP ^^

And Md , look , it's good but if i keep this , you must redo for me hyrule market entrance day and night for me^^ because you know what you use for creating this^^

Yes, but, as the background is an image, the perspective is fixed, while the camera angle and height can move. So we'll never have a perfect lining... and this one is already great :)

unfortunately this is not the pack for wind waker textures on oot, djipi is working the oot textures through his amazing hand powered oot-ww style textureizer, that most of us know as a mouse.

Could someone make some tools to cut an image and rename them into the smaller tiles. For example, I am trying to test some stuff with the market, and if there was a tool that could slice my image up into tiles, and name them properly, it would make things so much easier.

A tool for each pre-rendered backing in zelda, or one tool which can do them all...

It Looks Beautiful Nice Work
I have a question Last Time I DL'd this pack I had to Load 2 minutes every time I started the game and/or loaded a save state, is there anyway to install it permanently without loading?

I thought that tool only worked with the 320x240 images, not the panoramas?
Yes, it can convert only hires versions of original 320x240 images, not the panoramas. But it can do this fast. Just save dumped tiles for every background, and use them to instant conversion. You have to manually cut your panoramas into 4x3 aspect images. I probably can write a utility, which will do it, but it may take more of my time, than manually tiling.

With Glide64 you have to wait texture loading only on the first run. After that texture cache is saved on disk, and loading from texture cache is instant. Besides, the cache is not reloaded on save/load of a save state, so there is no waiting here too.
