but when i do that, chankast takes me back to the begining where the logo "dreamcast" appear.

For the Exoboot...how do i use it? because after the second step i click next and then another window opens and it's called Mode 1: Cd to Cd or Image. I been waiting for 5 minutes and nothing has happened...

That is because you can't do the swap method on Chankast right now. You either need to have a selbooot game, or you need to convert a non-selfboot game to selfboot to get it to run in Chankast. I think that has been said several times already in this thread.

Actually the swap method works on Chankast.
pheonix: Try to use the europian bios, it may help you avoid the "reset". The europian bios shows a blue dreamcast logo.

alright i just talked to these people and they told me that i should get them in peices like e-st3rds.001 002 003... instead of what i have now, which is one huge file. Then i should unpack them with rar and it should work...Any idea if this is true?

Yes, when you unpack all the smaller files they create a larger file. You can then burn the larger file with your CD recording software.

I got another version of the game and it's about 681MB after i extract it. But i see the format is in NRG. and i don't think that format will work. How do I change it to a working format?

I think there is something wrong or missing from the emu, because i recently just got another game that works cause i got it from a person that i talked to and for them it works fine but when i play it the emu just goes back to the begining over and over again. =\

There is nothing missing from the emultaor, it works for many of us. A non-sellfboot image could be causing that. Non-selfboot games cause it to go to the CD player screen on both the real console and on the emulator.

These are common problems dammit.
All of his questions are covered by the FAQ and by a huge number of other threads. It's not our fault that he can't read. :p
