No,you can´t
With my duron 700 MhZ i can´t get full speed (only if i see only a wall jajaja!!)

If i´m wrong,i must change some things

Even 2048MB PC3700 DDR 466MHz would make no difference, it's the CPU that's the bottleneck here.

o wow. 256 mb would improve speed on other games compared to my 192 mb of i have now though, wouldnt it?

It won't help much in games... in most you wouldn't even notice any difference. You'd notice a slight improvement when you're doing heavy multitasking.

If you get the "Windows is running low on Virtual memory" message a lot when loading Roms then yes. A RAM stick would benefit your general PC performance no doubt, but for N64 emulation, as long as you can hold a rom in your memory, it makes no significant difference.

i agree, celerons are usually worse than a pentium at the same MHz, so it will be harder to get it full speed, but it can be possible

why not try ultraHLE2064? That runs goldeneye pretty well, and very fast

In 1964 when running Goldeneye turn CF to 3 and frameskip on.
hey thanks for that advice, it improved the speed of goldeneye really well even though i still have 192 mb of ram. although it didnt work on 3, i decided to put it on automatic n it improved the speed pretty good

i did try it but for some reason the enemies n weapons/items r invisible, other than that the game runs nearly perfect, maybe because of the enemies n items bein invisible? i dont really kno

Get the latest official Forcewares here: (53.03)

Use Jabo's D3D6 1.5.1 for Goldeneye 007 - it's by far the fastest with the game.

With the Radeon 9000 Pro, you would be wrong, because Jabo's GFX renderer plugin 1.5.1 causes video stuttering with Goldeneye 007 and all of the video stuttering seemed to go away everytime I use Rice's Daedalus 5.4.x GFX renderer plugin with the pixel shader.

About memory:

In my personal tests i can see that a 128MB/P4 1400MHz (from Dell) is more slower than a 256MB/Duron 900MHz........
the two with windows XP.......

If you have windows XP.... use 256MB or more....... the Windows uses at least 110MB only with system. Add here the antivirus, firewall, motherboard monitors, etc.....

I have 256, and when I play GTA Vice City the usage ups to 300MB+ (and a high usage of harddisk due to virtual memory).....but is only on this game.

If you wondering to install the Win2003, i recommend 512MB....
But, for me, 256MB should be enough for WinXP.....
