If you wondering to install the Win2003, i recommend 512MB....
But, for me, 256MB should be enough for WinXP.....

2003 has roughly the same requirements as XP, and is very similar, you can even activate the visual styles easily :)

2003 should be faster than XP though due to having much less eye candy as default

not many, my brothers pc has 256 DDR, and win2003 ran very smooth with it, i didn't use it for long though, only installed it to practice setting up a network in 2003 for an exam

setting up networks in 2000/XP/2003 are really easy, huh? ;)
but try to run in a 2003 machine with 256MB memory the GTA vice city with some modded cars....... the memory usage ups to 400MB+
in win XP stays at 320MB.......

the two will run very smooth, but not for home use (games, games, games).....

its just in ultrahle 2064, not in 1964, goldeneye works fine in 1964 just slow

well i just got my stick of 128 mb ram to add to my other 128 mb (i only have two slots so i had to take out my 64 mb) so it could add to 256 n theres basically no improvement, just maybe a tiny bit of improvement since i guess it was like just addin 64 mb to my computer. what waste of money, i should of at least gotten a stick of 256 so i could have 384

actually i had more trouble setting it up in 2003, oh well, strange why the memory usage is so high on vice city on 2003, it probably doesn't like to use the pagefile much, actually 2003 is just as great for gaming as xp, as long as you change the direct x hardware acceleration to full, and change its roll to run apps quicker rather than background services

yep, i know........ i made this test in a computer that isn't mine......
i thinking to made a testdrive myself in my computer with 2003server to test how this is better than 2000server and to test another caracteristics from this "new" system.... i have read some info about 2003server on internet, and i very inclined to make a massive test in my home pc........
