Ok dl this full Cht File i have changed it so that any version of MQ as long as the Rom Properties Entery = Game Name=ZELDA MASTER QUEST they will all have the same cheat ready to use VIA all Countries code

H3ad5h0tter's rom appears to have the header 'ZELDA MASTER QUEST' still, when mine changed to 'THE LEGEND OF ZELDA' when patched...

What name does your rom have after using GoodN64?

I believe the subscreen delay cheat with the cheat file you posted works Gent. At least it seemed much faster :D

Hmmm... my 3 different master quest versions have all the same Header o_O

My 1964 only shows Goodn64 names because the 1964 database is inaccurate .

I've got screens of the 2 other ones !

/edit : if the orb on the left of the ROM name is greyed out , is the rom an unknown one ? . Diddy kong racing CRACKED wasn't in the database before and as i got it , it was just named by its ROM internal name .

I don't use duncan's properties INI , so it can be that the entry has been made as the 1964 recognized this rom .

If the header info is not correct (that means "MASTER QUEST" for [f1] and [f2] versions and "THE LEGEND OF ZELDA" for [!] version) then GoodN64 will not identify the rom as a good one.
Please view the header info of each rom using an other program or a hex editor
and tell me your results (after using GoodN64 to see if each rom is a good one).

PS: H3ad5h0tter when the orb is grey the rom is not identified by 1964.

Using Tool64 from Smiff's homepage, my Rom has the following properties, clearly showing a header of 'THE LEGEND OF ZELDA'.

So what is the header supposed to be for the (E) [!] version? 'THE LEGEND OF ZELDA' or 'ZELDA MASTER QUEST'? PJ64 saves by header so it views Master Quest and Ocarina of Time as the same game in regards to saves and stuff, so it would be much easier if the game had a different header.

Edit: I guess the THE LEGEND OF ZELDA header is the correct one...

Ummm Psyman ? I used GoodN64 right after i patched the [f1] version , it has been renamed by goodn64 as the [!] version after patching ! I used IPSwin to patch it . I can give you the results of smiffs rom prps tool , if you want . :D

So you have a good rom Clements :)

Ya i have the same, but in respect of 1964 this has prooved a bit of a shite for cheats :p

the only way its gonna work out well is if the Rom Properties reads as:

Game Name=ZELDA MASTER QUEST
Comments=Playable!
Alternate Title=Legend of Zelda, The - Master Quest (E) [!]

or it will just use the Legend Of Zelda OOT Cheats not cool :D

WTF ? The header is LEGEND OF ZELDA in rtool + pj64 ! o_O" I would change the header in the rom_properties.ini into ZELDA MASTER QUEST if you have THE LEGEND OF ZELDA ^_^

Hmmm... was it necessary to change the header in order to make the rom a [!] one ?

Nope the Internal name is down to the Rom itself and what the Rom_Properties Use.

the Cheat file just uses the Rom_Properties Name

So the ini has to be fooled like above to use the correct cheats

Yup , look at this screen :D You can make ANY header info into 1964 :D

/edit : I just found out that it IS duncans INI that I use ! He set up that header to get the cheats to work properly :D I wouls recommend his ini , its really valuable ^_^
