Hey everyone! I just wanted to know if anyone else is going to change their look for the holidays. We should all dress our sigs/avs accordingly (IMO) and I'm just trying to bring some joy to these forums. Please let me know if you're planning on doing anything, and posts your thoughts on MY changes here. Happy Holidays!

and personally i can be joyful without the need of christmas and that shall be my last comment. excuse me for being cynical.

uh..............................yeah. I was just trying to leave a nice post because these forums are so drab. EXCUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSE me miss. I didn't mean to offend. And yes, I'll shrink my sig, because you obviously hate Christmas. I don't really get into the spirit of it at all, but once again, I just wanted to see what people would say................oh well. OOPS. I didn't know you were a moderator. Well, I guess I'm done for now. Sorry if I'm acting like an a$$, especially cuz you're so much higher up than me. Again, whoops. :(

That could well be the most melodramatic post i ever saw.. Pagan holiday or not, christmas means time off work, extra beer, and presents, how can anyone dislike it?!

its become commercialized crap tho i agree with the advantage of having free time off work. disliking christmas is one thing, disliking the way christmas has become is another one.

nvm. Moderator or not, you don't have the right to get mad at me in the WAY OFF TOPIC forum, especially when I have'nt even done anything. It's not like I enjoy the commercialism, but it REALLY seems like you either hate Christmas, me, or everything in general. I just feel sorry for you.

touchy are we? i didnt get mad at you at all, i didnt tell you to stop this thread, i didnt even tell you that what you do is wrong. basically all i did is state my opinion on christmas. if you cant handle that, well *shrug*

Christmas is a time of taking time of work/education and the receiving of material goods (or money) from relatives and consuming much food and/or drink. Now thats the true meaning of Christmas.

I really dont like the abbreviation X-mas. It takes the most important part of it out. CHRISTmas is a celebration of the birth of CHRIST, and its a CHRISTian holiday so why abbreviate it with "X".

Yeah, I'm a Christian, and I gotta say, you're the FIRST person that I know of, besides my family and I, that believes in the meaning. That's why I love the holiday. When I was little, I was told that saying X-Mas was evil, lol. But I'm not sure what to believe.

'cause people want to secularize Christmas. Just like they did with the other holidays. Now-a-days holidays are being turned into meaningless days off for little kids. People just say that easter is a "celebration of spring", and that Christmas is about getting toys from santa claus. I guess a lot of people are uncomfortable with celebrating a CHRISTIAN holiday, so they take out the meaning and replace it with meaningless fluff.
