I saw how the site says it's taking up bandwidth, so I wondered if anyone heard of PNG Gauntlet. Do a search as this site won't let me post links.
It's an application that rearranges the way the data is stored to get a smaller file size. It's completely loss-less with the compression, and you can do whole folders at once too. I thought it was my duty to help out by informing of this program. I got a considerable file size reduction when I used it, and it made the textures load faster too.
Please remember to remove the thumbs.db from all your compressed files. They're thumbnails XP makes for when you're viewing inside a folder, and they're pointlessly taking up space/bandwidth. Check the 'show hidden files' thingy in folder settings to reveal them.
BTW Love the texture packs. Makes me want to replay everything.
