  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart

How can I get Zelda: Ocarina of Time with texture packs (like the great one made by death--droid). I know that the texture pack with probably slow things down a bit, but my computer should (or so I think) be able to run smoothly even with them. I'm using Project 64 2.0 by the way.

OS Specifications:

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit
Physical RAM: 8191 MB
CPU name: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor
CPU speed: 3.2 ghz (4 logical threads)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 430

Emulator Settings: http://imgur.com/a/M9eb6 (sorry, but I needed to put this on)

Do you already have the textures loaded and the problem is getting the game to run smoothly, or are you also asking about how to get the textures loaded in the first place?
